EntrepreNorth Social in Whitehorse: Celebrating Indigenous Entrepreneurs and Micro-Manufacturing

Published On: December 12, 2025

This January, EntrepreNorth is hosting a community gathering in Whitehorse that brings together Indigenous entrepreneurs, creators, alumni, and community members to celebrate innovation, creativity, and connection.

The EntrepreNorth Social is an evening dedicated to spotlighting participants from the Made in the North: Indigenous Micro-Manufacturing Cohort – a program supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs as they develop products, refine their ideas, and grow sustainable businesses rooted in community and culture.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur yourself, a supporter of Indigenous-owned businesses, or someone looking to connect with the local creative economy, this event is open and welcoming to all.

What to Expect at the EntrepreNorth Social

Mini Vendor Market (Open to the Public)

The evening begins with a Mini Vendor Market featuring current cohort participants and program alumni. Attendees are invited to browse products, meet the makers, and support Indigenous-owned businesses and micro-manufacturers.

This portion of the event is open to the public and does not require an RSVP.

Evening Program and Participant Presentations

Following the market, the event transitions into the evening program, where cohort participants will each share a presentation highlighting their business, creative journey, and experience within the program.

The evening will be guided by Sha’ala Campbell, serving as the event host and helping carry the flow of the program.

Live Music by Bria Rose

The formal program will close with a live performance by Bria Rose, a Tahltan/Cree singer-songwriter based in Whitehorse. Known for her storytelling and Northern-rooted sound, Bria brings a powerful and grounded presence to the stage.
