Davina McLeod
Senior Policy Lead
Davina McLeod is Inuvialuk and Gwich’in from Aklavik, Northwest Territories. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Davina is the Senior Policy Lead at EntrepreNorth, where she advances Indigenous-led economic development, policy, and systems change across the North. She also serves as a Director for the Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC).
Davina brings experience working with Indigenous communities through roles in health, community relations, and economic development. Her work focuses on supporting Indigenous-led initiatives, amplifying youth voices, and strengthening programs that contribute to community wellbeing. She is skilled in community engagement, program development, and policy coordination.
Raised in a traditional way of life, Davina learned the importance of giving back to her people. These teachings guide her work and ensure she keeps Indigenous communities at the forefront of her career, grounded in listening to communities and understanding their needs through her own lived experience.
