2025 Higlights from YK

In August 2025, EntrepreNorth hosted the inaugural Empowering Innovation Spirit Conference in Denendeh on Chief Drygeese Territory (Yellowknife, NT). As the first gathering of its kind in the North, it brought together Indigenous entrepreneurs, youth leaders, policy-makers, and funders from across Northern Canada, Circumpolar Arctic, and beyond.

This short film captures the highlights of our three-day journey, from immersive land-based excursions to strategic discussions on economic self-determination and community wellbeing. By centering Indigenous knowledge and land stewardship, the conference served as a dynamic, culturally relevant platform for delegates to share insights and wisdom and to and co-create sustainable pathways for Northern communities.
