Marylou Linklater
Marketing and Communications Manager
Marylou Linklater’s career has flowed through three connected areas: communications, marketing and storytelling. It feels fitting for a nêhiyaw-iskwêw from Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation in Treaty 5, a name that translates to “where three rivers meet.”
With more than 20 years of experience, Marylou has worked across Indigenous communications, public relations, marketing and media with organizations including the National Association of Friendship Centres, the Survivors’ Secretariat, Deloitte, APTN, Discovery Channel, CTV and the Indigenous Prosperity Foundation.
She is also an emerging writer working on her first fantasy novel and a graduate of Toronto Film School, with studies in Aboriginal Justice and Criminology. Outside of work, she is a proud mom, classic-film lover and antique collector.
