Rhona Edwards

Executive Assistant

Rhona Edwards is a Northern Tutchone and Tetlit Gwich’in woman from Pelly Crossing, Yukon, and a member of the Wolf Clan. She has spent much of her career working within her community and brings more than five years of experience in human resources, administration and supporting leadership.

Community and connection are important to Rhona, both personally and professionally. She enjoys helping people, creating opportunities for others and finding practical ways to make things work better. She is excited to join EntrepreNorth and contribute to work that supports Indigenous entrepreneurs, communities and economic opportunities across the North.

Outside of work, Rhona is a busy mom of four, but that has never slowed her down. She has served on her community’s Finance Committee, Resolution Committee and School Council, and volunteers with Emergency Medical Services. She also completed her Emergency Medical Responder certification. In the little spare time she does manage to find, she enjoys Indigenous beadwork, sewing, travelling and spending time with her family.
