Chief Executive Officer & EntrepreNorth Co-Founder


Xina lives and works in Whitehorse, Yukon on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. Her ancestry is Irish, Scottish, and Mohawk. She is the granddaughter of Barbara Monture Malloch and the great-granddaughter of Gilbert ‘Slim’ Monture from Six Nations.

As the CEO and Co-Founder of EntrepreNorth’s new charitable entity, Xina leads with a philosophy of empathy and relationality. Since joining the organization in 2019 and stepping into co-leadership in 2022, she has focused on evolving the ecosystem to support deep systems change. Her executive vision centres on reimagining philanthropy through a relational lens and implementing Indigenous-led governance structures that allow capital and networks to flow directly to Northern Indigenous communities. 

A natural bridge-builder, Xina views fundraising as an essential act of community-building. Grounded in the vision of Northern Indigenous communities, she works to mobilize funders and partners to co-create the space and resources necessary for long-term resilience. By establishing EntrepreNorth’s independent governance, she is expanding access to the vital tools entrepreneurs need to build businesses that are sustainable for the long term.

As a certified Coach and the Host and Producer of the Venture Out podcast, she amplifies stories of Northern innovation and Indigenous excellence. Outside of her leadership at EntrepreNorth, she is a passionate advocate for Indigenous fashion designers and artists across the Circumpolar Arctic, celebrating the intersection of culture and economic wellbeing.
