Business Ideation Workshops
EntrepreNorth’s Business Ideation Workshops support aspiring and early-stage Indigenous entrepreneurs who are exploring a business idea or looking to strengthen an existing one. Delivered in partnership with Indigenous governments, organizations, and communities, these workshops provide a practical and supportive introduction to entrepreneurship that is grounded in Indigenous values and Northern realities.
The workshops are designed as an accessible entry point for people who are curious about entrepreneurship and want space to think creatively, learn foundational skills, and build confidence alongside others in their community.
Our Indigenous-Centred Business Design
Participants are guided through a two-day learning journey using the Multi-Directional Business Compass. The Compass offers a way of thinking about business that centres community, values, and long-term impact alongside financial sustainability.
Throughout the sessions, participants use the eNorth App to map out their business model through the Multi-Directional Business Compass. Rather than focusing only on profit or growth, participants are encouraged to reflect on why their idea matters, who it serves, and how it connects to community wellbeing.
Following the workshop, participants gain access to online learning materials and exercises that build on what was covered during the sessions. The eNorth App also allows participants to stay connected with EntrepreNorth facilitators and team members for ongoing feedback and support, ensuring they have the guidance they need as they continue their entrepreneurial journey.
